Legal Counsel

Robert Zeglarski concentrates his law practice in the areas of media, technology, and entertainment, primarily in the business of television and film.  He is licensed in the States of Tennessee, New York and New Jersey.


Robert has represented producers and financiers in connection with the development, financing, and production of television and film productions. In the area of content creation and distribution, he currently represents Tennessee based independent film producers and productions, including Dance Network, a local television network
that produces and distributes original and licensed content “over-the a top.”

 

With respect to physical production and distribution, Robert represents Skyway Studios, a high-tech television production and distribution facility located in Nashville.

 

His clients also have included an alternative lender to the independent film industry and an Emmy Award-winning producer along with Skippy Entertainment, LLC and 'Iron Men of ‘99'.


Robert was recently elected President of the Media, Entertainment & Technology Alliance (META), a Tennessee non-profit business alliance serving businesses that operate in the creative economy.


As an Adjunct Professor at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film, he teaches a course entitled, Film Industry, Business, and Finance. Robert provides pro bono legal services to creative producers and emerging nonprofit arts organizations through Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts, a program administered by the Arts +
Business Council of Greater Nashville. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Nashville and the Japan-American Society of Tennessee.
